What Makes Iron Front Special

A military FPS designed from the ground up to be accessible to every player.

Full Audio Combat

30+ distinct sound cues: weapon fire (8 random variants), reloads, footsteps with sprint cadence, vehicle engines, kill confirmations, grenade throws, hurt/death, and more. Playable by audio alone.

Infantry Combat

Rifles, pistols, grenades, and tactical gear. Crouch, prone, sprint — complete movement system with keyboard controls and real-time positional audio feedback.

Vehicle Warfare

Board trucks and APCs with full interior audio — engine startup, driving loop, stop sounds. Multiple vehicle spawn points across all maps, screen-reader announces boarding/exit.

Compass Navigation

Q/E keys snap to compass directions with spoken announcements — north, northeast, east, etc. Players always know exactly where they're facing, vital for blind gameplay.

3 Competitive Modes

Team Deathmatch, Domination (3 objective capture points with flag audio), and Extraction (plant/defuse the beacon with alarm sound). Different tactics, same adrenaline.

Full Keyboard Support

Arrow keys for movement, Q/E for compass, all menus fully keyboard-navigable. No mouse required. Every action has a keyboard binding documented in the help screen.

1200×1200 urban district with city ambience, fire crackle, and alarm landmarks. Five weapon pickup points and four vehicle spawn locations across tight urban corridors.

1600×1600 open fields with three strategic flag points, each with unique flag audio on capture. Barns and terrain for natural cover in large-scale objective battles.

1000×1000 desert compound. 15 attacker spawn points around the perimeter vs. a bunker-based defender team. Beacon alarm at the extraction zone guides attackers by sound.

Screen Reader Compatible

Tested with NVDA and JAWS. All menus, game events, and state changes are announced via ARIA live regions.

Keyboard-Only Play

Arrow keys, Tab, Enter, Q/E compass, and number keys cover every action. Zero mouse dependency.

Rich Sound Design

Menu navigation, footsteps (different cadence for sprint), weapons, vehicles, map ambience — every action is sonically distinct.

Spoken Compass

Q/E snap compass announces your facing direction — north, NE, east, SE, etc. — keeping blind players fully spatially oriented.
